A broad selection of quality new, secondhand and antiquarian books are always to hand.
Keeble Antiques are an owner-member of TomFolio.com - the bookdealer's co-operative listing site

These are hard times for most commercial UK secondhand bookshops with the charity shops eroding our traditional trading base - Clive Keeble [aka Mr Grumpy] has recently "spoken" to TheBookGuide

Currently Keeble Antiques offer special prices on monographs about the following marine artists
Charles Brooking - George Chambers - Peter Monamy - Dominic Serres

Major recent acquisitions by Keeble Antiques include a photograph album with numerous quarter and whole plate photos taken during the Boer War - an extensive record showing both sides inc Boer commandoes, refugee camps, fortifications, transport, artillery and cavalry.

If you are a small business owner, or know anyone in England who is, I would suggest that you read the following page about Small Business Rate Relief

***This business will only offer goods on line where it holds actual physical stock.***
The internet is unfortunately polluted by merchandisers, sadly many of them corporates : they rely upon a middleman wholesaler providing stock to fulfill orders : the merchandisers themselves seldom hold a complete inventory.

The shop will be open 7 days a week thoughout the Summer

On Friday morning November 4th 2005 local author Roger Evans was here signing copies of his Somerset dialect book "Don't Tell I, Tell 'EE" (Countryside Books, £6.99).

The signing session was a great success with customers travelling from some distance to obtain copies. A special word of thanks to Roger for making himself available on the morning of this year's Bridgwater Carnival, of which he is a keen supporter.

Keeble is pleased to stock the following 'old favourites' also written by Roger Evans - "Blame it on the Cider" (now reprinted), "Somerset Stories of the Supernatural", "Somerset Tales of Mystery and Murder" , "Somerset Forgotten Heroes"and "Somerset Teashop Walks"

On Friday June 9th 2006, author Derrick Warren was here in Cheapside Langport to sign copies of his recent book "Curious Somerset", published by Sutton Publishing at £12.99. A total of 105 remarkable and less well-known features of Somerset - curious and unusual buildings, objects and landscape features - are detailed within, with photograph (both new and archive) as well as map and location details. Derrick Warren spent his working life with Ordnance Survey, that combined with his interest in industrial archaeology and local history has helped to ensure that "Curious Somerset" is a very welcome addition to the local bookcases.
